Je to dva roky, co společnost Creative oficiálně uvedla procesor ZMS-05 prezentovaný jako StemCell Media Processor, jde tedy o programovatelný SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) čip navržený pro snadné škálování a využívající architekturu ARM spojenou s 24 jádry spojených do jednoho pole s označením Media Processing Array. Netrvalo dlouho a po ZMS-05 byl představen procesor ZMS-20.
Nyní se chystá nový procesor označený jako ZMS-40, tento procesor by měl být optimalizován pro Android a využívá celkem 96 jader StemCell Media spojených se čtyřmi 1,5 GHz ARM Cortex-A9. Procesor tedy proti svému předchůdci má přibližně dvojnásobný výkon, a dovede dekódování videa H.264 HP v rozlišení až 3840 x 1080 pixelů.
Tento procesor by se měl dostat do tabletů které by měly mít 2D rozlišení až 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA). Firma Creative plánuje tento procesor dosadit do svých tabletů označených jako Jaguár.
